How to Activate Adult Channels in IPTV

Why are adult channels hidden by default?

Almost every IPTV provider hides the adult channels when you first set up your app. This is not a bug. It is a safety choice. How to activate adult channels in IPTV (5 easy steps)

These are the same 5 steps our support team uses every day. In most cases, step 1 is enough to turn on the adult channels.

01. Check that your plan includes adult channels

First, make sure your plan comes with the adult channels. If you are with Fire-viewtv, this is always yes — every plan includes the 8,000+ adult channels. If you are with another provider, check your plan or ask their support.

02. Open the parental settings in your app

Open your app (IPTV Smarters Pro, XP IPTV Player or Smarters Player Lite). Go to Settings, then open Parental Control. This is where the adult category is locked.

03. Type the PIN code

Type the 4-digit PIN code. The default PIN is 0000 or 1234 on most apps (the full list is in the table below). You can and should change this PIN later, for safety.

04. Turn on the Adult / XXX category

Find the box called Adult, XXX or Show 18+ content. Turn it on. Some apps ask you to un-hide the category instead. It is the same thing.

05. Restart the app

Here is the exact way to activate adult channels in IPTV on the three most used apps. Each one was tested in September 2026 on the latest version.

If you are not sure of the PIN, here are the default codes for the main IPTV apps. You can change any of them in the parental settings.

What to do if the channels still do not show

In about 5% of cases, the channels do not show even after you type the PIN and turn on the category. Here is the checklist our support team uses. Try each step in order.

• Check your plan. Log in to your account and make sure the adult pack is active. With Fire-viewtv it is always on — see the plans here.
• Reload the channel list. In IPTV Smarters Pro, go to Settings → Refresh playlist. In XP IPTV, choose Reload M3U list.
• Update your app. Old versions (before 2024) of some apps have a bug that hides the XXX category. Install the latest version.
• Try another app. Install TiviMate or GSE Smart IPTV as a test. If the channels show there, the problem is the first app, not your account.

How to activate adult channels on each device

The steps change a little from one device to another. Here is what to do on the four most common devices in France and overseas.

i. On Amazon Fire TV Stick

The Fire Stick is the most used IPTV device. To turn on the adult channels, install IPTV Smarters Pro, log in with your Fire-viewtv codes, then follow the normal steps (PIN 0000 → Adult category). ii. On Smart TV (LG, Samsung and others)

On a Smart TV, the best native app is XP IPTV Player (from the LG Content Store or Samsung Apps). Install it, log in with your Fire-viewtv M3U link, then go to Settings → Categories and turn on "Adult". On some Samsung TVs (2024 and newer), you also need to turn off the TV's own parental lock in the system menu before you open the IPTV app.

iii. On iPhone, iPad and Mac

On Apple devices, use Smarters Player Lite (free, App Store). Open the app, go to Settings → Preferences → Parental Lock, turn off the lock or type the PIN 0000, and the XXX category shows. On Mac and Apple TV, the app looks the same and the steps are the same.

iv. On Android and Android TV

On Android phones, tablets and boxes (Mi Box, Nvidia Shield), IPTV Smarters Pro is the best choice. It supports all Fire-viewtv features, including the adult channels in 4K.
